The Adbrite people are pretty shrewd when it comes to this business of internet. One can only imagine what their brainstorming sessions are like. They've tackled a number of methods for website and blog owners to increase their income over the years and have delivered some solid products. Now they have a new 'tool' called Spottt, with the purpose of helping sites pull in more traffic. Who doesn't want more traffic? And relevant traffic at that. In the cyber world where click thrus and ad impressions determine a large portion of would be profit, it's incredibly important to get visits from individuals that are interested in your content. More people, more ad impressions and the increased possibility of those folks clicking on ads. Spottt's method is pretty simple. Join the network. Embed the linking code that displays a 125x125 image, that will rotate an ad from another site of similar content. You accrue credits for every ad displayed so that your site's ad image will appear on various sites that are similar throughout the network. Makes sense doesn't it? But will it benefit your site? Hopefully, it can. What's the possibility of it being more successful then networks like BlogCatalog or Blogosphere? In part 2 of 'See Spott Draw Traffic?' we'll give you a run down of our findings. Our blog is still pending review to be approved for inclusion into the network.
Spottt is a free service from the people at AdBrite
